Want to be an ARC reader?

Curious about what it means to be an ARC reader? A launch team is a group of enthusiastic readers who want to help spread the word. As a member, you’ll get the chance to apply for an ARC (Advance Reader Copy). This means you’ll be among the first to dive into the book! In exchange for an advance, free copy of the book, I ask for your honest review on Amazon/Goodreads. I also appreciate support in sharing the book with others, whether through reviews and/or social media posts. It’s a fun, collaborative way to be part of the book’s success—and I’d love to have you on board!

Why are reviews so important?

Reviews are essential for helping new books find their audience. Without them, it can be hard for potential readers to decide if a book is something they would enjoy. And if there are reviews posted when a book launches, it helps new readers make a decision on whether to dive into the story or not. This can make a huge difference to the success of a new book.

A Reverie of Roses

A sapphic, low-stakes, cosy fantasy novella

Nora made a reckless wager. Now, to save her career as a portraitist, she must paint the one person she never wanted to see again.

The last time she tried to capture Lisette Lacemont on canvas, she was left with an unrequited crush and an unfinished painting. This time, she’s determined to do better. But when a summer storm traps her in a country manor with the flighty socialite, Nora has no escape from Lisette's flirtations, her sharp tongue, or the way she sees right through her.

Lisette is a challenge, a muse, an endless frustration. And if Nora isn’t careful, she’ll lose more than her wager before the painting is finished.

She’ll lose her heart, a second time.

 FAQs

  • ARCs will be delivered as an ebook via Bookfunnel, and can be read on a phone, digital reader, or computer.

  • It varies from book to book. Usually, ARCs are sent out 2 weeks before the release day. While reviews are most welcome on release day, reviews can be posted any time after the release of the book. Within the first 1-2 weeks is ideal.

  • I won't be keeping tabs on reviews, so I won't know! Please review honestly. If you decide you'd prefer not to review, you didn't like the book, or you just didn't get to it in time, please don't stress. (And a note for those who find the book isn't their cup of tea: There are too many good books in this world to spend time reading books you don't enjoy. Put it aside, no hard feelings.)

  • There are a limited amount of ARCs for each release. Successful ARC readers will be fans of the genre, have an active reading/reviewing presence, and preference will be given to readers who have read and reviewed my books in the past.

That said, I try to give out as many ARCs as I can with every release!
